"With the Century" is a collected series compiled by the Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House in Pyongyang, bringing together the memoir materials of President Kim Il Sung.
After the first volume was published in April 1992, the sixth volume was issued in 1995.
From 1996 to July 1998, Volumes 7 and 8 of "With the Century: The Continuation Edition (Gyeseungbon)" were published.
The work recounts the anti-Japanese movement and partisan (guerrilla) activities, spanning from the time of Kim Il Sung's birth to the early 1940s.

The records up to the Battle of Pochonbo (Volumes 1–5) can be regarded as Kim Il Sung's own recollections, but Volume 6 is presumed to have been written by scholars on the basis of his posthumous manuscripts and talks.
